The VS-01 is a sporty ultra high performance tyre with a modern look and extremely dynamic driving characteristics. Wide shoulder blocks increase traction under the harshest conditions and the variable arrangement of the tread blocks reduces noise to a minimum. In developing this top UHP tyre, special emphasis was placed on wet-running properties. The dangers of longitudinal and transverse aquaplaning have been lower to a minimum thanks to the newly developed rubber compound. The asymmetrical tread design guarantees shortest braking distances in wet and dry conditions.

Fitted and forgotten
My mechanic recommended Maxxis and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set.

Smooth ride
Third car I've run on Maxxis. Consistent quality every time. Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate.

Great on the motorway
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. For this price I didn't expect much, but the VS-01 genuinely surprised me. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
