The VS-01 is a sporty ultra high performance tyre with a modern look and extremely dynamic driving characteristics. Wide shoulder blocks increase traction under the harshest conditions and the variable arrangement of the tread blocks reduces noise to a minimum. In developing this top UHP tyre, special emphasis was placed on wet-running properties. The dangers of longitudinal and transverse aquaplaning have been reduced to a minimum thanks to the newly developed rubber compound. The asymmetrical tread design guarantees shortest braking distances in wet and dry conditions.

Braking feels secure
Second set of Maxxis on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
