Description

Based on the advanced winter tread pattern WP6, PREMITRA SNOW WP6 SUV is the appropriate tread for strong and heavy SUVs. The main grooves provide a lower noise level and better drainage performance. The directional support grooves reduce rolling resistance and improve braking performance. The 3D sipes guarantee optimal dry and wet handling and guarantee good grip even on snowy surfaces.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Had these through a full season now. Wear is minimal and performance hasn't dropped. Felt secure on icy morning roads.

Confidence in corners
Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
