Solid winter tyre
Switched from a budget brand to the Alpin 7 — the difference in braking is obvious. Bought a full set of MICHELIN for the family car.
Does the job well
Early days, but first impressions are very good. Smooth and quiet. Wet braking is excellent.
Happy with the purchase
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Holds well in snow and slush.
All-round good pick
Bought on price, staying for the quality. The Alpin 7 punches above its weight.
Quiet and comfortable
Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt. Brakes hard and straight, no pulling. Felt secure on icy morning roads.
Reliable winter rubber
Second set of MICHELIN on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair.
