What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

Bought a full set of MICHELIN for the family car. Comfortable ride and no drama in the rain. For this price I didn't expect much, but the CrossClimate 2 A/W genuinely surprised me.

Reliable all-season rubber. No surprises, which is exactly what I want. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year. Not the last word in steering feel.
