Get ready for journeys of pure driving pleasure. With tyres that instinctively and safely transfer your driving behaviour onto the road.

Dynamic Response Technology:

A newly developed hybrid belt layer made of a mixture of aramid and nylon enables an optimal steering behaviour. The ultra-reactive tread pattern continuously adapts to the road surface for optimum ground contact area.

Security:

The fine-tuned rubber compound of special functional elastomers and silicas delivers excellent wet adhesion and excellent braking properties. Wide and deep longitudinal grooves in the profile ensure particularly good water drainage on wet roads.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.
RFT: Run-flat technologyReinforced sidewalls can permit limited continued driving after a loss of pressure. The permitted speed and distance depend on the manufacturer; a pressure monitoring system is normally required.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Smooth ride
For this price I didn't expect much, but the Pilot Sport 4 ZP genuinely surprised me. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
