Description

Peace of mind for wintry ways

The new Nokian Snowproof P is a sporty and modern combination of high-performance handling and reliable winter grip. Everyday driving situations such as sudden lane changes and slushy side roads are handled with ease due to advanced traction, shorter stopping distances and enhanced safety through corners.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

Would recommend to anyone after a dependable winter tyre without overspending. Reliable winter rubber. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama.

Fair tyre for the money
For this price I didn't expect much, but the WR Snowproof P genuinely surprised me. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Impressed so far
Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt. Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres.

Handles well
Early days, but first impressions are very good. Smooth and quiet. Had them fitted last month. Felt secure on icy morning roads.
