M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. Solid everyday tyre. Holds well in snow and slush. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
