The P Zero™ Winter 2 from Pirelli is a high-performance winter tyre developed specifically for leading car manufacturers. It offers superb safety in winter conditions, with superb braking performance on snow and an ‘A’ rating for Wet grip on the EU label. The PIRELLI NOISE CANCELLING SYSTEM™ (PNCS) guarantees low noise levels and high driving comfort.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Fitted and forgotten
Had these through a full season now. Wear is minimal and performance hasn't dropped. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama.

They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. Fitted before a long road trip. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.
