What the tyre markings mean
- XL
- Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
- M+S
- Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.

Better than expected
Does exactly what a winter tyre should. Happy with the purchase. Early days, but first impressions are very good. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama.

Solid choice
Had them fitted last month. Wet grip is confidence-inspiring and they look the part too. Switched from a budget brand to the P Zero Winter — the difference in braking is obvious.
