Description

The Scorpion™ All Terrain Plus offers safety and comfort on all surfaces. The tyre convinces through excellent traction on slippery surfaces and ideal vehicle control in the off-road use. Specially formed shoulder treat bars protect the side wall against cuts and cracks and thereby lead to an increased robustness against damages. The specially formed tread grooves with the self-cleaning tread ensure protection and safety of the tyre.

Key features:

Aggressive Tread Pattern and Upper Sidewall Design:

New Generation Tread Compound:

Deep Tread Grooves with Conical Stone Ejectors:

Optimized for durability, traction, and wear
High resistance to cutting and chipping of the tread elements
Balanced performance for on and off-road conditions
Ejectors force small stones out from the tread
Provides excellent traction in mud and snow
Excellent snow traction, and sidewall marked with three-peak snowflake
Provides a great look for trucks and SUVs

What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Better than expected
They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Pleasantly surprised
Ordered online, fitted locally. The tyres themselves have been faultless so far. Good tyre overall.

A step up from my old set
Handles standing water better than my previous set. Feel much safer in autumn rain.
