The Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season is not an all-weather tyre. This tyre does not bear the Alpine symbol (‘snowflake in a mountain’). All-weather tyres without the Alpine symbol (official designation: “3PMSF” – short for Three Peak Mountain Snow Flake) will be banned from 1 October 2024 when driving on icy or snow-covered roads.

What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Reliable all-season rubber
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The Scorpion Verde All Season grips well on dry roads. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
