New, special compound for top performance in any winter weather:

The new Sottozero Serie II allows vehicles to achieve ultimate performance - even at high temperatures. The new compound allows the highest standards of safe, controlled and sporty driving. 360° performance in autumn and winter.

Maximum safety on wet roads:

The new patented tread pattern was developed to guarantee performance and safety on wet roads and to significantly reduce the risk of aquaplaning.

A better drive, thanks to UHP-BI-Compound technology:

The combination of two tread compounds improves safety and performance. The outer shoulder of the tyre guarantees greater traction on snow. The inner tyre shoulder improves stability and control at higher speeds.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.
