New compounds and new sipe design have been used introducing the latest technological features. Furthermore, Winter Sottozero™ 3 has been co-developed with premium and prestige OEMs.
What the tyre markings mean
- XL
- Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
- M+S
- Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.

Fitted and forgotten
Driven about 3,000 km on these so far. Wear looks even and grip is consistent. Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. Felt secure on icy morning roads.
