As a summer tyre, the RGS02 is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Strong performer
Had them fitted last month. Wet grip is confidence-inspiring and they look the part too. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Good all-rounder

Good, not perfect
My mechanic recommended Roadhog and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. Switched from a budget brand to the RGS02 — the difference in braking is obvious. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
