Description

One step ahead of winter.

85 years of winter tyre development leave their mark!

In addition to excellent winter properties, the Semperit SPEED-GRIP 5 is impressive on both wet and dry roads.

Wet performance: Benefit from a new tread pattern that delivers a high level of safety on wet and rainy roads.
Semperit tyres: Tested in alpine conditions. Quality and experience in alpine conditions
Snow performance: Conquer any challenge thanks to strong road grip, excellent braking performance and precise handling on snow.
Dry performance: Enjoy a new level of stability on bends for carefree winter journeys.

What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

Worth the money
Driven about 3,000 km on these so far. Wear looks even and grip is consistent. Handles standing water better than my previous set. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.

Decent for the price
Switched from a budget brand to the Speed-Grip 5 — the difference in braking is obvious. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.

All-round good pick
Good tyre overall. Would have liked a bit more feedback through the steering. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
