Description

One step ahead of winter.

85 years of winter tyre development leave their mark!

In addition to excellent winter properties, the Semperit SPEED-GRIP 5 is impressive on both wet and dry roads.

Snow performance: Conquer any challenge thanks to strong road grip, superb braking performance and precise handling on snow.
Wet performance: Benefit from a new tread pattern that provides a high level of safety on wet and rainy roads.
Semperit tyres: Tested in alpine conditions. Quality and experience in alpine conditions
Dry performance: Enjoy a new level of stability on bends for carefree winter journeys.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Impressed so far
Driven about 3,000 km on these so far. Wear looks even and grip is consistent.

Trusted Semperit quality
My mechanic recommended Semperit and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. Handles standing water better than my previous set. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Fine tyre, minor niggles
Bought on price, staying for the quality. The Speed-Grip 5 punches above its weight.

Semperit delivers again
Second set of Semperit on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. Comfortable over rough surfaces.

Smooth ride
They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. Stable and precise in summer heat.
