Description

NW211 Wintermax – composed winter performance for cold, wet and snowy roads

advanced piece-shape pattern design with formula special for ice and snow delivers newly-developed tread with better flexibility and promotes touchdown area of pattern pieces to turn bigger when tires are driven along a snowy road, so that snow columns are not easy to be cut off, and tires can be provided with more powerful tire driving forces.
no slip on snowy Roads
Sunny formula special for ice and snow can ensure that tires maintain a very good winter performance in the middle and late period of wearing.

What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Recommended
My mechanic recommended Sunny and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. Holds well in snow and slush.

Impressed so far
Very quiet on tarmac. The NW211 Wintermax made my commute noticeably more relaxed. Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama.

Okay for everyday driving
A sensible buy. Not sporty, but safe and quiet. Holds well in snow and slush.

All-round good pick
Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch. Not the last word in steering feel.

Fitted and forgotten
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The NW211 Wintermax grips well on dry roads. Ride comfort is the standout.

No complaints so far
Bought a full set of Sunny for the family car. Comfortable ride and no drama in the rain.
