What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Smooth ride
They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in. Comfortable over rough surfaces.

Happy with the purchase
Switched from a budget brand to the Winter — the difference in braking is obvious.

Very happy with these
Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Holds well in snow and slush.

Smooth ride
Decent tyre at a fair price. Tread pattern clears water well. They're okay. Felt secure on icy morning roads.
