What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Worth the money
Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt. For this price I didn't expect much, but the Celsius genuinely surprised me. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.

Ride comfort is the standout. Long journeys feel less tiring now. Comfortable over rough surfaces. Not the last word in steering feel.
