What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Solid all-season tyre
Ordered online, fitted locally. The tyres themselves have been faultless so far. Very quiet on tarmac.

Solid choice
Good tyre overall. Would have liked a bit more feedback through the steering. Switched from a budget brand to the TERRAMASTER A/S — the difference in braking is obvious.

Fair tyre for the money
Ordered online, fitted locally. The tyres themselves have been faultless so far. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year.

Worth the money
Good all-season tyre for the money. Rolling noise is low and braking feels predictable. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year.

Good all-rounder
Had these through a full season now. Wear is minimal and performance hasn't dropped. Good in town and on the motorway alike. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.

Impressed so far
Early days, but first impressions are very good. Smooth and quiet. Very quiet on tarmac. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year.
