What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Reliable all-season rubber
Bought a full set of Windforce for the family car. Comfortable ride and no drama in the rain. Wet braking is excellent. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year.

Good all-rounder
Fitted before a long road trip. Comfortable at motorway speeds and felt safe in heavy rain. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.

Solid choice
Does the job, nothing more. For daily commuting it's perfectly fine. For this price I didn't expect much, but the TERRAMASTER A/S genuinely surprised me.

Reliable all-season rubber
Fitted before a long road trip. Comfortable at motorway speeds and felt safe in heavy rain. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.

Worth the money
Balanced and predictable. Exactly how a tyre should feel. My mechanic recommended Windforce and he was right. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.

Solid all-season tyre
Second set of Windforce on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here.
