Description

The ultimate road-legal sports tyre. Curve stability, extreme grip on wet and dry surfaces, improved handling performance.

The extremely stable tyre shoulder ensures absolute grip when cornering
The deformation-resistant profile row ensures powerful curve performance
Two parallel longitudinal grooves optimize the straight-line flow and water drainage from the contact surface
The narrow longitudinal groove ensures effective heat dissipation and stable lap times

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.

A step up from my old set
Good balance of comfort and handling. Would buy again. The car feels more stable in crosswinds since fitting these. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Fitted and forgotten
Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate.

A step up from my old set
Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair.

Good, not perfect
Third car I've run on Yokohama. Consistent quality every time. Switched from a budget brand to the Advan A052 — the difference in braking is obvious.

Does what it says
Fitted before a long road trip. Comfortable at motorway speeds and felt safe in heavy rain. Does the job, nothing more. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Good grip in the wet
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Good tyre overall. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
