Description

The ultimate road-legal sports tyre. Curve stability, extreme grip on wet and dry surfaces, improved handling performance.

The extremely stable tyre shoulder guarantees absolute grip when cornering
The deformation-resistant profile row guarantees powerful curve performance
The narrow longitudinal groove guarantees effective heat dissipation and stable lap times
Two parallel longitudinal grooves optimize the straight-line flow and water drainage from the contact surface

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.

Does the job well
Bought a full set of Yokohama for the family car. Comfortable ride and no drama in the rain. Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before.

Does what it says
Fitted before a long road trip. Comfortable at motorway speeds and felt safe in heavy rain.

Confidence in corners
Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. Had these through a full season now. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Better than expected
Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. They're okay. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

Fitted and forgotten
Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch. For this price I didn't expect much, but the Advan A052 genuinely surprised me.
