Description

Road legal tyre for tuned vehicles and club racers

Benefits

Features

Note: Tyres should not be stored at temperatures below -10°C (14°F) to maintain tyre performance and characteristics. If the temperature is too low, this rubber compound will become brittle and tyre or personal injury may result. These tyres may only be driven at temperatures of +7°C degrees and warmer in order to show their optimum performance.

The new MS rubber compound 2R uses technologies from motorsport
Uniform shoulder blocks increase tread rigidity
Round tread grooves in different sections of the tyre deliver increased grip
The tyre transfers the power to the road right from the 1st lap
It delivers greater driving control than ever before and offers outstanding cornering behaviour
Ultimate grip powerfully transfers the speed to the road

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Impressed so far
They're okay. Comfortable enough, but I expected a bit sharper turn-in.

Pleasantly surprised
Fine for the price. Slightly more road noise than I hoped on coarse asphalt. Ride comfort is the standout.

Trusted Yokohama quality
Balanced and predictable. Exactly how a tyre should feel. Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres.
