As a summer tyre, the Advan Sport (V105) is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Smooth ride
My mechanic recommended Yokohama and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. Bought a full set of Yokohama for the family car.

Yokohama delivers again
Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Handles standing water better than my previous set.

Worth the money
Does exactly what a summer tyre should. Happy with the purchase. For this price I didn't expect much, but the Advan Sport (V105) genuinely surprised me. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Not the last word in steering feel.
