As a summer tyre, the Geolandar CV G058 is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Fitted and forgotten
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The Geolandar CV G058 grips well on dry roads.

Yokohama delivers again
Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch. Handles standing water better than my previous set. Stable and precise in summer heat. Not the last word in steering feel.
