Designed for the cold season, this tyre combines a winter compound with a tread pattern that packs snow for grip and clears slush quickly. Steering and braking stay reassuring on icy and snow-covered roads.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
RFT: Run-flat technologyReinforced sidewalls can permit limited continued driving after a loss of pressure. The permitted speed and distance depend on the manufacturer; a pressure monitoring system is normally required.

Okay for everyday driving
Good winter tyre for the money. Rolling noise is low and braking feels predictable. My mechanic recommended Bridgestone and he was right.

Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Good in town and on the motorway alike. Not the last word in steering feel.
