M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.

Okay for everyday driving
Second set of Continental on this car. The last ones wore well, expecting the same here. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Braking feels secure
Driven about 3,000 km on these so far. Wear looks even and grip is consistent. For this price I didn't expect much, but the VanContact A/S Ultra genuinely surprised me.
