What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Solid summer tyre
Good summer tyre for the money. Rolling noise is low and braking feels predictable. Handles standing water better than my previous set. Stable and precise in summer heat. Not the last word in steering feel.
