What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Does the job well
Fitted them at a mate's garage. Straightforward job and they've been faultless since.

Impressed so far
Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Stable and precise in summer heat. Took a few hundred km to bed in.
