What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Quiet and comfortable
Ride comfort is the standout. Long journeys feel less tiring now. Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.

Fine tyre, minor niggles
Good balance of comfort and handling. Would buy again. Fitted them at a mate's garage. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Quality you can feel
Does exactly what a winter tyre should. Happy with the purchase.

Fair tyre for the money
Ordered online, fitted locally. The tyres themselves have been faultless so far.
