The new WinterGrip Technology compound remains very elastic even at low temperatures and offers superb grip on snow and ice. The traction resins in its TractionProtect Technology ensure optimal adaptation to the road surface and thus ensure short braking distances on wet and dry roads. With SnowProtect Technology - sipes with a locking bar in the upper area, extremely high sipe density, flexible blocks - extremely precise steering behaviour is achieved.

    Strong performer

    Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate.

    No complaints so far

    Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Holds well in snow and slush.

    A step up from my old set

    Bought on price, staying for the quality. The Ultra Grip Performance + punches above its weight. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in.

    Great value for money

    Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set.
