What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Fitted and forgotten
Would recommend to anyone after a dependable summer tyre without overspending. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in.

Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before. For this price I didn't expect much, but the Premitra 6 HP6 genuinely surprised me. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Took a few hundred km to bed in.
