What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

A step up from my old set
Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Handles well
Had them fitted last month. Wet grip is confidence-inspiring and they look the part too. The car feels more stable in crosswinds since fitting these. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
