What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

No complaints so far
Brakes hard and straight, no pulling. Very reassuring. Switched from a budget brand to the Powergy 2 — the difference in braking is obvious.

Quality you can feel
Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before.

Solid choice
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The Powergy 2 grips well on dry roads. Third car I've run on Pirelli. Stable and precise in summer heat.
