What the tyre markings mean
- XL
- Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.

Pleasantly surprised
Solid everyday tyre. Nothing flashy, but it does everything I ask of it. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama.

Decent for the price
Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Good balance of comfort and handling. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Had them fitted last month. Wet grip is confidence-inspiring and they look the part too. Good in town and on the motorway alike. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
