What the tyre markings mean
- XL
- Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
- M+S

Good winter tyre for the money. Rolling noise is low and braking feels predictable. Third car I've run on Pirelli.

Nice upgrade
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The Winter Sottozero 3 grips well on dry roads. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama.
