New compounds and new sipe design have been used introducing the latest technological features. Furthermore, Winter Sottozero™ 3 has been co-developed with premium and prestige OEMs.
Run Flat – No pressure drive
The Pirelli Self Supporting system presents specific reinforcements inserted into the sidewall’s structure.
Pirelli Run Flat tyres support lateral and transverse loads of the vehicle even in the absence of pressure.
What the tyre markings mean
- XL
- Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
- M+S

Bought on price, staying for the quality. The Winter Sottozero 3 Run Flat punches above its weight. Third car I've run on Pirelli. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
