Description

The rim includes a tyre and for this reason the rim manufacturer Tomason now also offers its own tyre. It is a sporty summer performance tyre with an attractive asymmetrical tread.

The tyre offers a balanced mixture of sportiness, safety and comfort and scores in all vehicle classes due to its high economy! The SportRace offers a high level of performance in many areas and the wet behaviour is also convincing!

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.

Strong performer
Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Decent tyre at a fair price.

Good grip in the wet
Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch. Bought on price, staying for the quality. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

A step up from my old set
Third car I've run on Tomason. Consistent quality every time. Handles standing water better than my previous set.

Okay for everyday driving
Good tyre overall. Would have liked a bit more feedback through the steering. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Took a few hundred km to bed in.
