What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Would buy again
Good all-season tyre for the money. Rolling noise is low and braking feels predictable. For this price I didn't expect much, but the Quatrac PRO+ genuinely surprised me.

Very happy with these
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.

Smooth ride
Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before. The car feels more stable in crosswinds since fitting these. Coped fine with a light snowfall in early spring.
