The Vredestein Snowtrac 5 is a winter tyre that defies even the most extreme and unpredictable weather conditions, including wet, cold or slippery roads. The starting point in its development was to ensure optimal safety, a superior performance and durability.

Thanks to the unique sipe technology, which involves more sipes in varying shapes, orientations and profile depth, the tyre offers superb grip on wet road surfaces, snow and ice. The solid central zone ensures extra stability for improved handling on dry and wet surfaces.

The Vredestein Snowtrac 5 features Stealth Design: the longitudinal and lateral grooves in the tread comprise many different surfaces of varying formats which absorb noise, making cars quieter inside and out.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
