What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Fair tyre for the money
Fitted them at a mate's garage. Straightforward job and they've been faultless since. Reliable all-season rubber. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year.

Braking feels secure
For this price I didn't expect much, but the BluEarth-4S AW21 genuinely surprised me. Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.

Decent for the price
Bought on price, staying for the quality. The BluEarth-4S AW21 punches above its weight. Brakes hard and straight, no pulling. Nice not having to swap tyres twice a year.
