As a summer tyre, the Geolandar CV G058 is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

A step up from my old set
Fitted before a long road trip. Comfortable at motorway speeds and felt safe in heavy rain. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Not the last word in steering feel.

Decent for the price
Decent tyre at a fair price. Tread pattern clears water well. Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres.
