30-day return policy
NordTread voluntarily gives consumers 30 days from the day the goods are delivered to notify us that they wish to return an order. This commercial extension includes and does not restrict the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal or any mandatory rights in the customer’s country of residence.
How to request a return
Before sending anything, e-mail [email protected] with your order number, the items and quantities being returned and the reason for the return. For damage, a wrong item or a defect, include clear photographs of the product, labels and packaging. We will reply with return instructions and the correct return address. Do not send goods cash on delivery or to a partner garage unless we have agreed this in writing.
Condition of returned goods
For a change-of-mind return, tyres and wheels must be unused, unmounted, undamaged and, where reasonably possible, retain their labels and original packaging. You may inspect goods only as you could in a physical shop. Where handling beyond that necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the goods reduces their value, we may deduct the proven loss in value where the law permits. This never removes rights relating to defective or incorrectly supplied goods.
Return shipping
For a voluntary or change-of-mind return, the customer bears the direct return transport and packaging cost unless NordTread agrees otherwise. Tyres and wheels are bulky goods; the exact carrier charge depends on the country, number, dimensions and collection address and will be communicated before collection is booked. NordTread pays reasonable return costs for a verified defective, damaged-in-transit or incorrectly supplied product.
Refunds
After a valid withdrawal, we refund payments due, including the least expensive standard outbound delivery offered for the order. Optional express, priority, same-day or fitting charges already performed at the customer’s request are not refundable unless the service was defective or the law requires otherwise. Refunds are made to the original payment method without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notice of withdrawal; we may withhold the refund until the goods are received or proof of return is supplied.
Defects and complaints
Consumer guarantee and conformity rights remain fully available. Contact [email protected] promptly with the order number and evidence. Do not mount a tyre that appears incorrect or damaged. A transport note does not replace your statutory rights. NordTread will assess the claim and, as applicable, arrange repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
Exceptions
The right of withdrawal may not apply to goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised, including a genuinely custom-built and mounted complete-wheel set, where the statutory exception applies and was disclosed before purchase. Ordinary stock tyres and unconfigured wheels are not treated as personalised merely because a size was selected.
