Description

A701 – confident winter grip with everyday comfort

Ensures a comfortable and safe ride with enhanced driving stability on snowy surfaces
The pattern improves safe driving in the changeable snow
Improved wet grip performance with excellent water drainage

Certified for severe winter conditions (3PMSF alpine symbol)
M+S marking for mud and snow
Reinforced XL construction for higher load capacity

Designed for the cold season, this tyre combines a winter compound with a tread pattern that packs snow for grip and clears slush quickly. Steering and braking stay reassuring on icy and snow-covered roads.

Like all tyres in our range, this model meets the applicable European safety and labelling standards and is produced under strict quality control.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

No complaints so far
Ordered online, fitted locally. The tyres themselves have been faultless so far. Fitted before a long road trip. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Does the job well
Had these through a full season now. Wear is minimal and performance hasn't dropped. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.

Impressed so far
Handles standing water better than my previous set. Feel much safer in autumn rain. Reliable summer rubber. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Does what it says
Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch. Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres.
