What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Reliable summer rubber
Decent tyre at a fair price. Tread pattern clears water well. Not the last word in steering feel.

Impressed so far
Had these through a full season now. Wear is minimal and performance hasn't dropped. Would recommend to anyone after a dependable summer tyre without overspending.

Strong performer
Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch.

Trusted APlus quality
For this price I didn't expect much, but the A909 genuinely surprised me. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Slightly firmer ride than I expected.
