3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.

Does the job, nothing more. For daily commuting it's perfectly fine. Felt secure on icy morning roads.

Good grip in the wet
My mechanic recommended Bridgestone and he was right. Quiet, stable, no complaints. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Holds well in snow and slush.
