What the tyre markings mean

M+S: Mud and Snow (M+S)M+S is a manufacturer's indication that the tread is intended to offer improved traction in mud and snow. By itself it is not the same as the tested 3PMSF winter certification.
3PMSF: Three-Peak Mountain SnowflakeThe mountain-and-snowflake symbol identifies a tyre that has passed a standardised severe-snow traction test. It is the recognised performance marking for winter conditions.
EV: Suitable for electric vehiclesThis tyre is optimised for the weight, torque, rolling resistance and noise requirements of electric and hybrid vehicles. The marking does not mean that it can only be used on an EV.

Okay for everyday driving
Ordered online, fitted locally. The tyres themselves have been faultless so far. Good in town and on the motorway alike. Took a few hundred km to bed in.

Does the job, nothing more. For daily commuting it's perfectly fine. Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. No squirm even on hot asphalt.
