Description

The Dueler HP Sport was developed to give SUVs the driving characteristics of a high-performance vehicle. It offers ideal grip even in sporty driving and provides optimal and safe control even at top speeds.

This tyre uses the RFT system. This means that, should there be a sudden loss of air, the tyre can still be controlled without any problems, mobility is retained, and it is not necessary to change the tyre on narrow or busy roads. Tyres with the RFT technology may only be used on cars with a functioning air pressure check system.

What the tyre markings mean

XL: Reinforced tyre (XL)XL means Extra Load. The tyre is reinforced and can carry a higher load than a standard tyre of the same size. Always follow the vehicle's specified load index and tyre pressure.
RFT: Run-flat technologyReinforced sidewalls can permit limited continued driving after a loss of pressure. The permitted speed and distance depend on the manufacturer; a pressure monitoring system is normally required.
Rim protection: Rim protectionA raised rubber profile near the bead helps protect the rim edge from light kerb contact. It cannot prevent every type of wheel damage.

Handles well
Does the job, nothing more. For daily commuting it's perfectly fine. Second set of Bridgestone on this car. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
